Is Sungrow a good brand?
Australian installers voted it the best inverter of 2026 in SolarQuotes' Installer's Choice, and second best battery. Sungrow says over 500,000 Australian homes run its gear.
Does the warranty need the internet?
Yes. Sungrow's battery warranty needs the system monitored in iSolarCloud, or the guaranteed cover falls to about 4 years. We connect it and register it on install day.
Will it back up my whole house?
On the SH8.0RS and SH10RS, yes, up to 63 A, switching in under 10 ms. The smaller SH5.0RS and SH6.0RS back up chosen circuits, up to 6 kW. The designer shows which you've picked.
Will it get the federal battery rebate?
We confirm the exact battery against the approved list on your quote, and the designer prices the rebate for your install date. The rebate steps down on 1 January.
