Terms of use
The terms, and how the online price works.
This website is operated by Eucalypt Solar Pty Ltd (ABN 97 686 829 274), trading as Eucalypt Solar. By using the site and the online quote you agree to these terms. Last updated 31 October 2026.
The online price is indicative
The online price is indicative. It is based on aerial imagery and your answers, and a licensed installer confirms your system at a free site inspection before any contract. Rebates are shown as separate lines and depend on your eligibility.
The price assumes a straightforward installation: the roof, switchboard, meter and access as they appear from the imagery and your answers. If the inspection finds something different, such as a switchboard upgrade, extra cabling, a steep or fragile roof or restricted access, we tell you what changed and why before you decide. You are never bound by the online figure, and neither are we until a contract is signed.
Rebates and loans
Rebates and interest free loans are shown as separate lines, never hidden inside the headline price. They include small scale technology certificates under the federal Small scale Renewable Energy Scheme, the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program for eligible battery systems, and Solar Victoria rebates and loans where the household qualifies. Each has its own eligibility rules set by the government, and the amounts change over time. We confirm what applies to your home before the contract, and we lodge the paperwork for you.
The site inspection
A site inspection by a licensed electrician or accredited installer is free and carries no obligation. It confirms the design and the final price. We may decline to proceed where the site is unsafe or unsuitable, and you may decline to proceed for any reason.
Your contract and your rights
If you go ahead, the installation is covered by a separate written contract that sets out the system, the price, the timing and the warranties. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Where the law gives you a cooling off period, it and how to use it are stated on your contract.
Warranties
Panels, inverters and batteries carry their manufacturers’ warranties, which we state on your quote and contract. Our workmanship warranty is set out in the contract. Warranty terms shown on this site are a summary of the manufacturers’ published terms and may change.

The quoting tool is for homeowners and people acting for them. Please only enter addresses you are entitled to get a quote for. We take care to keep the information on this site accurate, but imagery can be out of date, data can be wrong and prices move. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the online price or the information on this site before a contract is signed. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
