Eucalypt Solar exists for people who already know they want solar or a battery and want it done without a sales visit. The tool does the quoting. Licensed electricians do the rest.
Who is behind it
A registered electrical contractor, not a lead reseller.
Eucalypt Solar is the trading name of Eucalypt Solar Pty Ltd (ABN 97 686 829 274), an Australian company registered in Victoria. The business is run by a licensed electrical contractor. We do not sell your details to installers: we quote your job and we install it.
The quoting tool is ours. It reads your roof from the current aerial photo, lays the panels out and prices the system from our own costs, so the figure you see is the figure we expect to install for. A free site inspection confirms it before anything is signed.
Licences and accreditation
- Registered Electrical Contractor (Victoria): REC 22757. Energy Safe Victoria registration for electrical contracting work.
- Installers: every system is installed by CEC-accredited installers and licensed electricians.
- Inspection: every install is checked and certified by an independent licensed electrical inspector before it is switched on.
Licence numbers are also printed on your quote and your contract. You can check a Victorian electrical licence on the Energy Safe Victoria register.
How an install is delivered
One company, start to switch on.
Before
A licensed installer inspects the roof, the switchboard and the meter and confirms the design and the price. We lodge the rebate paperwork and the network connection application for you.
On the day
Licensed, CEC-accredited electricians install, wire and commission the system, most solar installs in a single day. The panels, inverter and battery are the ones on your quote, by brand and model.
After
An independent inspector certifies the install. The system goes on monitoring so a fault is seen and dealt with, and we support it for the life of the warranty.
Warranty
What is covered, and by whom.
Panels in every tier carry a 25 year manufacturer warranty. Inverters and batteries carry their manufacturers' warranties, 10 years as standard and up to 15 on selected premium gear, stated by model on your quote and contract. Our workmanship warranty is set out in the contract. On top of all of that, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
The online price is indicative. It is based on aerial imagery and your answers, and a licensed installer confirms your system at a free site inspection before any contract. Rebates are shown as separate lines and depend on your eligibility.
