Sigenergy SigenStor

Solar, battery, backup and the car, in one stack.

SigenStor puts the solar inverter, the battery, the energy manager and an optional DC car charger into one tidy stack, all run from one app. Australian installers voted it the best home battery of 2026.

Why we fit Sigenergy

One stack, one app, one phone call.

Most battery systems are three or four boxes from different makers, each with its own app. When something goes wrong, they can blame each other. With SigenStor the panels feed one stack, the car can charge off the same stack, and the whole lot answers to one app and one warranty.

Installers voted SigenStor the best home battery in SolarQuotes' 2026 Installer's Choice, and SunWiz ranks Sigenergy the number one home battery brand in Australia. We see the same app you do, so a fault alert comes to us, often before you notice.

  • Balanced range in our designer
  • Start with one module and grow to six
  • Add the DC car charger later as just another module

Straight answers

Questions we get asked.

Something not here? Ring or text 0468 179 539 any hour and ask.

Was there a Sigenergy recall?

Yes. In November 2025 some single phase 8, 10 and 12 kW controllers with a quick connect AC plug were recalled because the plug could overheat. Sigenergy fixes affected units with a new terminal connection. Three phase systems were not affected. If you're one of our customers and unsure, ring us and we'll check your serial number.

Does it need the internet?

It keeps running without it, but the full warranty needs it online. After 90 days offline it goes into a safe mode, and after a year offline the warranty drops to 5 years. We connect it on install day.

Is backup really instant?

With the Sigen Gateway, yes: 0 ms, so the lights don't flicker, as long as the house is using less than the controller's rating. Without a Gateway there's no blackout backup, so we price it in when you choose backup.

Will it get the federal battery rebate?

SigenStor is on the Clean Energy Council's approved list, and we confirm the exact combination on your quote. The designer prices the rebate for your install date; it steps down on 1 January.
