Solar Emporium is in liquidation. What owners can do now
Solar Emporium of Truganina, linked to Cyanergy, went into liquidation in March 2026. Who the liquidators are and what it means for warranties and deposits.

Solar Emporium, the Truganina installer that worked in Victoria and New South Wales, went into liquidation on 16 March 2026, on the same day and with the same liquidators as Cyanergy. SolarQuotes notes the company had advised that the Solar Emporium name was retiring because it had become part of Cyanergy. So if you hold a Solar Emporium invoice, both of these companies matter to you.
What the records show
We read these on 4 November 2026:
- an ASIC notice shows that at a meeting on 16 March 2026 the members of Solar Emporium Pty Ltd resolved to wind up the company and appointed Liam Bellamy and John Kukulovski of Mackay Goodwin as liquidators
- Solar Victoria lists Solar Emporium as ineligible for its program from 24 March 2026
- ABN Lookup still showed its ABN as active when we checked, which can lag
Who to contact
Mackay Goodwin is at 16/90 Collins Street, Melbourne, on (03) 8657 2857, and the ASIC notice names Ted Osborne as the contact person. If you paid a deposit, tell them in writing, and ask your bank about a chargeback at the same time because time limits apply.
Your warranties
SolarQuotes lists JA Solar, Jinko, LONGi and TW Solar panels, GoodWe, Sungrow, Solis and Alpha inverters, and Sungrow batteries against Solar Emporium. Check your own labels, then contact the maker about anything inside its warranty period. Consumer Affairs Victoria says that is the right step when the seller is insolvent.
The installer's own workmanship warranty came from the company, so do not count on it. Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 558 181 can tell you what options remain.

Questions
Did Cyanergy take on Solar Emporium's warranties?
We have seen nothing that says what was agreed between the two, and both are now in liquidation. Ask the liquidators, and go to the makers for product faults.
Who looks at a fault on a Solar Emporium system?
Any licensed electrician who works on solar. Have your invoice, install date and photos of your inverter label ready.
If your job was never finished
You can design a system on your own roof and see a real installed price, with no sales visit. We cannot take on Solar Emporium's contracts or workmanship warranty.
