Energy Plan Finder
The cheapest plan for your home, worked out on your own bill.
Your real usage, solar, battery and EV run through every residential plan on your Victorian network, ranked by what you would actually pay over a year. Free power hours, caps, overnight rates and peak times, all simulated. It works for any home, solar or not, and no retailer pays us a cent.
Step 1
Your network and your data
Any home, with or without solar or a battery. We are not paid by any energy retailer: no commissions, no referral fees, no favourites. The ranking is your own usage run through every plan, cheapest first.
Is this for your home or your business?
It is printed on your bill. Not sure? Powercor covers most of western and central Victoria, AusNet the east and north east.
How to download your data: Powercor · CitiPower · Jemena · United Energy · AusNet
Step 2
Your system
A smart meter file or a bill already shows what your solar does; the size here is what we use when a bill has to be scaled to a year, and for the read on your system.
The battery model charges from spare solar, tops up from the grid in free or cheap windows when it pays, and holds charge for the dearest hours.

About these numbers
Plan data comes from the Consumer Data Right feed that every retailer must publish through the Australian Energy Regulator and Victoria’s DEECA, refreshed daily. Prices include GST. Feed in tariffs are shown as published.
Results are estimates from your interval data, scaled to a full year. Wholesale plans (Amber, Flow Power and similar) use the retailer’s published estimate, and real bills move with spot prices. The battery strategy is a sensible heuristic, not an optimiser. Demand charges use the monthly maximum half hour demand. Check the retailer’s Basic Plan Information Document before you switch.
Retailer names and logos belong to their owners and are shown for identification only. Eucalypt Solar is not affiliated with any retailer and receives nothing from any of them: no commission, no referral fee, no payment for where a plan sits in the list. Eucalypt Solar Pty Ltd, ABN 97 686 829 274, REC 22757.
